Viewports

I am enrolled at the local college studying welding, and as such, I managed to beg my way into the engineering workshop to use their lathes.  I do have one of my own but its too small for the viewports.  Hopefully my own will be ok for the smaller parts such as through hulls. 

 

I was hoping that I could get these parts onto the CNC machine but unfortunately its just a fraction too small.  So, I have to do it manually on this monster lathe.  I’ve nearly finished the first one which has taken two afternoons, so its going to take a while to get all eight machined.
