Here I am turning the pipe in order to get it totally concentric with the centre of the cap.  At first I started to turn this without holding it across centre, but at one point it dug in and shifted the cap in the chuck. So, I took it off and welded on a little square plate to the end of the pipe, then centre drilled it so I could hold it across centre.  Should have done that at first.  Speed for this 60rpm.
