It was straight forward enough to cut the hole out with a jigsaw and then sand the edges clean.  I finished the other cut as well and fitted it onto the sub, but it was too dark to take a picture today.  I’ll take one tomorrow.  The hole at the top of the tank is to clear the rudder peddal through hull.
