Drop Weights |
As the weights were not quite heavy enough, I added some angle around the top of the original mould so I could pour extra lead on top. Then I screwed in 10 A4 stainless screws leaving just the heads poking out. Using the same procedure as before, I melted about 10kg of lead and poured it onto the top. It worked ok but it’s a good job I added the screws, otherwise the extra “layer” would just fall off. Now weighs 156 lb so that gives me a bit of leeway to tidy them up. Both weights are now complete. Pictures to follow. |
