Dropweights

With the through hulls in, I could fit the dropweight handles and release cable.  This is such a simple idea i really didn’t think it was going to work. It’s just a car bonnet pull rigged to pull the drop weight handles.  I thought that the handles would be too stiff (with the 150lb of lead on them) for the cable to pull.  But, when I rigged it all up I was suprised to find it works really well.  Quite easy to release the weights with the red pull handle (left of picture).
